What size is the PVC pipe you cut length wise and slid over the edge of the knife blade to get correct angle? That'd be really helpful.

Wow, I never thought of these knife sharpening techniques! Call me old school, but I prefer devices called "knife sharpeners" when it comes to sharpening knives. Instead of stroking them against rolled down car windows out in the elements.
